- Afternoon Shift 3pm - 11:20pm (Monday - Friday)
- Pay rate of $53.75 per hour (including casual loading and shift loading)
Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking experienced Production Line Leaders / Leading Hand Machine operators to join their client based in Campbellfield, who specialize in the manufacturing of bedding products.
The successful applicants will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment, as well as experience in a leadership position (leading hand or line leader)
Qualifications / Minimum experience required:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to operate a variety automated machinery
- Experience in quilting/sewing/textile industry highly desirable
- Experience with operating automated machinery, use of HMIs and basic understanding of mechanical/electrical principles
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to guide and lead a small team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks
About your new role / Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operating to run quilt line machines
- Leading hand for a small team (up to 3 people)
- Troubleshoot process issues and resolve where possible
- Understanding of products, bill of materials, quality checks and required daily reporting
- Take ownership of OH&S issues and incident reporting while on shift
- Afternoon Shift Monday - Friday (3pm - 11:20pm)
- Consistent long-term work with temp to perm opportunities (Based off performance)
- Pay rate of S.75 per hour (including casual loading and afternoon shift loading)
